HOF CENSUS 2007
BIRTHPLACE
A majority were born in London with most of the rest in Kent or the South.
Of the “Others”, as diverse as USA and Germany (surprisingly this was not Nez).

PLACE OF RESIDENCE
Massive sway away from London with Kent as the main beneficiary and,
coupled with the South, makes up the majority of HOF dwellers.

OCCUPATION
Interestingly the Great Working Class that many would view HOF as
comprising does not exist as the vast majority work in “white collar” jobs.
Unless we are all working class now it would suggest that HOF is
a predominantly middle class organ (oooh aaah missus).

AGE
The HOF Yoof seem to be very thin on the ground whilst there are a surprisingly
large number of Old Gits who should have grown out of all this by now.

GENDER
Unsurprisingly HOF, like a Yorkie bar, is not for girls. However one thing that it does display is
that HOF must breed some gobby cows as every other post seems to be from a young lady (sic).

FAVOURITE PLAYER
Mr T Hurlock was the undisputed winner which probably reflects the numerical superiority
of the 30-40 age group on HOF. I have put some of the answers down to people being of
the impression that it was your current favourite player otherwise the inclusion of Brammer,
Hubertz and Shaw would indicate we have a lunatic in our midst.

FAVOURITE MILLWALL MOMENT
The FA Cup Semi was the clear winner but there were some magic moments amongst the “Others”.
The Carlisle game in the unbeaten run in the sixties; the Anfield game in the old First Division;
and the Arsenal FA Cup win amongst them.

BIGGEST RUCK SEEN
This was very close with Brum coming out on top although as someone who witnessed
all the UK based ones I have to say for pure mayhem in a stadium the Ipswich FA Cup
game was the worst I’ve seen.

FAVOURITE AWAY GROUND
"Others" with a huge assortment from Moss Rose to Wembley were the winners,
but Old Trafford probably because of the FA Cup connection was the individual winner.

SCOTS TEAM
The forces of Darkness were the most popular team in Scotland
but a massive 31% couldnaegiveafuk.

FAVOURITE CRICKET TEAM
A straight fight between Surrey (South London) and Kent resulted in a win for the hop
picking asylum seekers with a large 31% showing no interest in the National summer game
and thus showing themselves as no worse than an Iraqi suicide bomber in my view. In fact,
slightly worse because at least the bomber has the decency to kill himself!

FAVOURITE RUGBY TEAM
Even less interest than Cricket here especially bearing in mind that a good number of
the “others” put England as their team.

RELIGION
A frightening 57 % have no religion at all which probably explains the behaviour of most young people today!

POLITICAL PARTY
"None" and "Varies" run out way on top with a combined 61%. Tories are the winner of the mainstream
with the BNP a poor 7% in one of its supposed heartlands.

EDUCATION
It would appear judging from the number of “White Collar” jobs that the State system has served the
nation fairly well although the quality of Blazin’s English may tell a different story.

UNIVERSITY
With over a third attending University it appears that if we are thugs we are not mindless ones!

HOLIDAYS
The most popular destination (and somewhat of a surprise) was good old Uncle Sam with
Spain the more traditional choice in second.

MILLWALL OR ENGLAND
Overwhelming vote for Millwall, especially since the "Both" voters missed the point of having to make a choice.
